“Then followed that beautiful season… Summer….

Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood”
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow~

I finally got around to washing and stemming the strawberries we picked this past Monday. I left but a few out and froze the rest. I may try to go back there and pick more just because there is nothing like having them in the winter when you just can’t take any more snow or cold. it’s a nice remembrance of summer.
